SPERO®, Latin for "hope," is a system that includes a Platform as a Service (PaaS) designed to support the replication, scaling, and customization of HQP's Advanced Preventive Care model. SPERO® is the result of more than 17 years of applied research and development. Health Quality Partners designed SPERO® to support teams in implementing HQP's model of Advanced Preventive Care with fidelity and reproducible effectiveness.
SPERO® includes a secure, hosted, IT platform with an integrated set of tools for managing protocol specifications, staff training, patient and family education, data inputs, views, decision supports, and advanced analytics for program management and performance improvement. SPERO® also includes direct support from HQP's senior management team, lead nurses, and analysts, to ensure that the tools in the IT platform are wisely and skillfully applied to effectively implement the model to improve the health of vulnerable populations in any setting.
The platform initially went 'live' supporting patient care in July 2015. Innovation to enhance decision support and advanced analytics are ongoing, with several to be added in 2018. The SPERO® IT platform is available to organizations that become HQP replication or design partners. On a select basis SPERO® may also be offered as a standalone system in support of projects that design, implement, or test promising new models of advanced preventive care.
If your organization is interested in being an early adopter of this powerful, new capability, please contact us. For additional information, visit SPERO®.
